Inspiring Promotions got its start several years ago, upon my return from the Big Island of Hawai'i, where I had been recruited to serve as the Director of New Moon Foundation, a Buddhist-inspired non-profit organization. This project included the extensive rehabilitation of a historic district into a Contemplative Education Center, situated on a 2400-acre parcel of enchanted ‘aina or land. 

Through the grace of the ‘aina, I had many wonderful experiences. In time, it taught me the meaning of kuleana, which for me translated to mean ‘our unfailing responsibility to live true to our beliefs, for the good of all.’ You might say I took this belief as a spiritual practice and integrated it into my mainland life at the completion of this project.

Upon my return, Inspiring Promotions was born. Originally hired to assist inspirational speaker, featured teacher in The Secret and author Marci Shimoff during the launch of her New York Times best-selling book, Happy For No Reason, 7 Steps to Being Happy from the Inside Out, I developed a network of individuals and organizations in publishing and media.

In time, Inspiring Promotions opened itself to include other new and established authors in Personal Development and has been contracted to strategize the book launch campaigns and ongoing publicity for wonderful clients whom I believe are helping our individual and collective evolution.

Organizations include The Institute of Noetic Sciences in Marin County and The Chopra Center for Wellbeing in Southern California. Authors include 2010 Qigong Master and remote healer Chunyi Lin; Stanford Medical School professor Dr. David Daniels; Shaman Lucia Rene; former Buddhist monk Patrick Ryan; Actress and yoga/nutritional guru Mariel Hemingway; neuropsychologist Rick Hanson, and many more notable authors who bring their wisdom to readers and listeners daily.

It is our kuleana to bring their messages of healing, personal growth, and inspiration to new audiences around the globe.
